Amoxicillin 1000 mg + Clavulanic Acid 125 mg Sachet BP
- Description: A high-dose oral powder sachet formulation of a co-amoxiclav antibiotic mixture.
- Composition: Each sachet contains Amoxicillin Trihydrate BP equivalent to Amoxicillin 1000 mg and Potassium Clavulanate BP equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 125 mg.
- Indication: Severe upper/lower respiratory tract infections (community-acquired pneumonia, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis), severe dental abscesses, or resistant urinary tract infections.
- Dosage: Usually 1 sachet dissolved in water twice or thrice daily at the start of a meal to enhance absorption and reduce GI side effects.
Outpatients requiring high-dose oral therapy for severe respiratory or dental infections.
